Three in the Race for World Bank top Job

The World Bank has received three nominations for the post of its presidency, including Ngozi Okonjo – Iweala, Nigerian finance minister, José Antonio Ocampo, a columbian national and professor at Colombian University in New York and Jim Young Kim from the United States.
World Bank said its directors will conduct formal interviews of the three candidates in Washingon in the coming weeks. And their decision will be made known in april.
This is the first time that the world bank presidency is being contested. It has always been headed by American nationals.
I hope the developping countires will be given a chance to head this body. Did I hear you say that's what democracy is all about. Sure. Ngozi, good luck.
